TRB recruits 55,000 teachers in Tamilnadu 2011-2012




                 The Teachers Recruitment Board has proposed to recruit 55,000 posts of Teachers(Including Second Grade Teachers , Graduate Assistant , PG Teachers ) in School in Tamilnadu. These Vacancies are filled in the way Seniority or filled up on the basis of marks secured in the Written Competitive examination conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board to be announced in this week.

 Total Vacancies: The tentative estimated vacancies 55,000

In both procedure the communal reservation will be
GT                                                       –31%
Backward Class(other than Muslims)    –26.5%
BackwardClassMuslims                        –3.5%
Most BackwardClass                           -20%
Scheduled Caste (SCA)                       -18%
Scheduled Tribe                                   –1%

Qualifications:

Minimum Educational Qualifications for the post are as follows:

a) General Qualifications: 
                 The candidate should possess a minimum general Qualification as defined in schedule to the General Rule for the Tamilnadu State and Subordinate Service and B.A. / B.Sc. in degree (in 10+2+3 pattern) with Tamil,English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography as Major subjects and B.Lit. Tamil obtained from a recognized University.

b) Professional Qualifications: The Candidate should possess the following Professional qualifications as follows: B.Ed. degree obtained from a recognized University

c) For secondary grade teacher completes their D.T.Ed in any recognized institution in Tamilnadu.

The post likely to be posted anywhere in the State and they are expected to visit every nook and corner of their working area..

PROCEDURE OF SELECTION: -
In Competetive method :The candidates will be short-listed for Certificate Verification in the ratio of 1:1 based on the marks secured out of 150 marks duly following Communal Reservation and subject roster.
In Seniority method :The candidates will be short-listed for Certificate Verification in the ratio of 1:5 based on seniority following Communal Reservation and subject roster.

Final Selection:
After Certificate Verification . The provisional list of candidates selected for appointment will be published in the Notice Board of Teachers Recruitment Board and also in the official web site viz., CLICK HERE. The publication of results will be announced through Press / Mass Media. Intimation to the provisionally selected candidates will also be sent by post individually.
